Scrabble! I also like Scategories, though it's not a board game.

Yes, I think it is. I'm a big Apples to Apples fan, a Wit's end fan and I really like bonkers which is a word game, and is pretty hard to find and is not on amazon for some reason. Monopoly is just not my game, it just seems to take up so much time.

So sorry to hear that. Most board games can be easily brailled. You could for example put Apples to Apples cards in a braille writer and have a sighted person read you the card, then braille it. You can also modify the rules if you don't like the ones given. That's what I do with my boardgames.

What's the mad magazine game about?

Another game is Last word, in which you are given a category and a letter, for example food that starts with S. You press the timer and you and your fellow players begin to yellow that food. You never know when the timer will buzz. The person who states the last word before the timer goes off, earns a point. You can play for however long and for however many points you want. A very fun game. Highly recommended

That Last Word game sounds great. I used to play Apples to Apples with some friends in college, and we would try to make the pairings as funny as possible. We also played Music Seen It a lot, and it became a favorite of mine. We had to play in teams, though, because some of the questions require answers that are based on visual components of video clips. I am a big fan of Bop It and Say What8 as well, but I guess these aren't really board games.

I have Say What, and I really liked it, but after playing it ofr a while, it just got kind of boring. I also Play apples to apples but I modified the rules so that there is no judge but you have to assosciate your red card with your green card and have it make sense. For example if your red card is penguins and your green card is wet, you could say that a bad score on a test that you can't correct is like a wet penguin that has fallen off the ice and is now stuck in the water. It's not a very good assosciation but I think we all get the point.
